Ocean Pour Tutorial

After Your Pour is Dry

  1. You will need to rub cornstarch or flour over the top of your dry piece and let it sit for at least an hour, but overnight is great. This will allow for the silicone to be absorbed.
  2. Remove the cornstarch with a clean, stiff paintbrush, (I like to use a stencil brush) and follow that with using a soft bristled brush. Be certain you have removed all of the silicone and the cornstarch.
  3. Your piece is now ready to be sealed. My favorite method is using epoxy resin as it really adds depth to the details and makes the colors come alive.

  1. Did you use floetrol in all the colors or just in the Tia Zeal and White Ning? Also, can you use a natural sponge to dab and make the white foam?
